Pirates win home match

GRANTSBURG—The Grantsburg Pirates won their home match in golf last week with an eight stroke advantage over second place Luck/Frederic, 155 to 163.

Unity and Webster were third and fourth respectively, (185,193) with St. Croix Falls and Clear Lake the remaining teams, 198 and 206.

Logan Lillehaug of Luck/Frederic was medalist with a 35. Both Jared Lee and Gus Bergman of Grantsburg were tied for second, each carding a 37. Justin Patterson and Joey Duncan shot a 40 and 41 respectively.

For the Tigers, Carter Doriott came in with a 43. Tallon Parent was right behind with a 44. Nathan Stadler and Daniel Ingalls finished with a 52 and 54 respectively.

Both teams were scheduled to play at Webster on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Webster is at Colfax with Grantsburg going to Barron. Thursday both squads are at Luck/Frederic. Friday Grantsburg is at Hayward. Both teams are at Unity next Tuesday.
