The Siren Dragon’s volleyball season came to an end in their first Regional game against Clayton last Tuesday evening. They were able to win the third set against Clayton, but unfortunately came up short in the end, leaving with a final score of 1-3.
An unforeseen COVID-19 case on the Dragon’s JV squad left coach Kristin Kosloski with just eight girls going into the Regional playoff game, including six seniors and two juniors since the JV squad had to be placed on quarantine.
“These girls really played their hearts out and left it all out on the court. We didn't have a couple of the normal subs we have, but the girls stepped it up! I am really going to miss the hearts these six seniors have for the game. They are all great teammates and always encourage each other!”
