Yellow Lake Lutheran Church’s council voted to donate $9,300 to the Yellow Lake Food Distribution. The endowment committee voted to donate an additional $5,000 to the Yellow Lake Food Distribution.

The donation will go to helping local people obtain food that is much needed at this time.

The checks were presented to Debbie O’Connell by Pastor Bill Schroeder and Tom Schneiberg, Treasurer for the Endowment Fund.

The Yellow Lake Food Distribution program is a group of eight churches, including Yellow Lake Lutheran, that operate our community food bank program. Food is distributed each month by volunteers. We are blessed for our generous congregation and our volunteers.

The church has also recently donated $3,100 to the Salvation Army.
