Jim Jaskolka has worked for Siren in the public works department for 35 years. The village board and president recently honored him for his time working for Siren.

Jaskolka is the public works director for the village. Village President Dave Alden surprised Jalkolka, who started working for the village in 1984, with a plaque presentation at last week’s board meeting.

“Hats off to you, Jim,” Alden said. “We really appreciate all the work you do around here.”

The plaque had Jaskolka’s name at the top and read, “In grateful appreciation of 35 years as a dedicated employee for the Village of Siren and it’s residents. 1985-2020.”
