GRANTSBURG—Residents of East Benson Avenue in Grantsburg appearing before the village board Monday night said they and their neighbors are unhappy with the rusty sediment in their water since their homes were connected to the village water system. Olson said most, but not all, of his neighbors on Benson Avenue have installed water conditioning systems to remove the rust and provide soft water. The neighbors without water conditioners tell him the water in a sink or bathtub has a reddish-brown color from the high rust level.
