Three men were arrested after a theft was reported at the Holiday gas station in Siren.

Following an investigation John Costanzo, 34, St. Paul, Minn., was arrested for the robbery. Joseph Stenbakken, 33, and James Dalbec, 28, were also arrested for outstanding warrants.

Officers were told the male subject left the gas station on foot. They checked the immediate area and could not locate the suspect. They also learned the suspect was armed with what is believed to be a knife.

Costanzo was later located and arrested for his alleged involvement in the robbery.

Siren Chief of Police Chris Sybers thanked all departments who helped with the incident.

“Thank you to Burnett County Sheriff’s Department, Grantsburg Police Department and the St Croix Tribal Police Department,” Sybers said. “It was a cooperative response from all agencies involved.”
