TURTLE LAKE––A woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend resulting in his death in Turtle Lake over the weekend, according to the Turtle Lake Police Department. They believe there is no danger to the public at this time.

Barron County dispatch received a call about a female having stabbed her boyfriend Aug. 10 just before 4:30 p.m. in the Village of Almena.

Turtle Lake PD released a statement saying when officers from the department and the Barron County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene they found a man deceased in the backyard of a home in the 200 block of E. Soo Ave.

Officer later found a woman believed to be involved in the incident. She was later taken into custody.

At this time the incident still remains under investigation by the Turtle Lake Police Dept, Barron County Sheriff’s Dept, Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Barron County Medical Examiner.
