DANBURY— 8:30 a.m. A free event that offers the opportunity to pick berries and learn about the area’s past, present and future. Everybody will meet at the NBWA cabin located at 33174 Gomulak Fire Lane in Danbury for maps. Afterwards you can drive to the flagged berry patches and pick as many blueberries as you would like. When finished, you can return back to the cabins and hear about the history from Jeff Kitelinger, Sue Segelstrom, Paul Hlina and Brian Finstad. Lunch will be provided for free at noon consisting of burgers, brats, beans, beer and blueberry treats.
